Ava is currently completing her fourth-year Bachelor of Speech and Language Sciences/Masters of Speech Pathology at Victoria University. She has always been passionate about working with children and supporting them to grow in confidence.
She has a background in support work and Allied Health Assistance, where she has developed experience supporting children and young people with a range of individual needs. She values working collaboratively with families and other professionals to provide holistic, strengths-based support that feels relevant and empowering.
Throughout her studies and clinical placements, Ava has been exploring her interests across paediatric speech pathology, with a particular focus on neurodiversity affirming practice. She is committed to creating safe and supportive environments where children feel comfortable being themselves.
Outside of work and university, Ava loves staying active, whether that’s taking her French Bulldog for a walk or heading to the gym with friends. She also enjoys discovering fun new restaurants around Melbourne and spending quality time with her friends and family.
