ARTICULATION

(Speech Clarity)

Articulation is the ability to coordinate our teeth, tongue, lips and voice box so that we can produce clear and distinct sounds for the accurate formation of speech that can be understood by others.

Adequate speech sound skills are important for expressing basic wants and needs, engaging in conversations, literacy gains (being able to read and spell individual sounds), effectively socialising, and using language with peers.

If you are concerned about your child's articulation, contact our clinic to discuss your needs.
