Jade Williams
Principal Speech Pathologist
Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
Jade is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia. She obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2014.
Jade has experience working with individuals up to 18 years of age who have a range of communication needs. She is particularly interested in practice areas that impact the adolescent population. Her professional interests lay in the areas of neurodiversity affirming therapy, and reading and spelling difficulties.
Jade has worked across numerous private practices and for the Department of Education before she opened Thrive Children’s Therapy in 2019. Her dream clinic came to life; one where all individuals would feel warmly welcomed.
Jade is a fierce ally for the neurodivergent community. She listens to Autistic voices to inform her therapy, and is a firm believer that all brains should be celebrated. Her sessions are aimed at fostering a safe and positive experience for all.
When she is not at work, Jade is working as a mum, raising her two young children. You can find them dancing in the loungeroom to the Frozen soundtrack, playing dress-ups, or watching Paw Patrol or Bluey.
